Midland City Forest is the place to be for sledding and tobogganing action in Midland!

Sledding
A supervised sledding hill is available for plastic sleds only. Sorry... for safety reasons, steel runner sleds and snowboards are not permitted.

Toboganning
City Forest has four iced, elevated runs. Toboggans can be rented for $4 per hour, for a two-hour maximum.

City Forest
City Forest’s rustic Chalet is a great place to go after a cold day on the hills. Warm up by the fireplace, drink a hot chocolate, and watch the action from large picture windows. The City Forest Chalet has restrooms, telephones and a snack bar.

City Forest Winter hours* are as follows: 

Thursdays & Fridays 4-9 p.m.
Saturdays 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sundays and Holidays Noon to 9 p.m.
Holiday Break 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (according to Midland Public Schools calendar)
December 24 and 31 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

*Skate rental allowed up to one hour before closing time.

From April 15-November 15 each year, the Chalet Building may be rented, for a two-hour minimum, at a rate of $30 per hour ($20 for each additional hour after the first two hours).
