Stratford Woods Park is a great place for outdoor activities of all kinds. It is situated around Kiwassee Lake.
It is a popular swimming location in Midland. This shallow, sandy bottom lake is perfect for children and adults alike. A large beach is available for sunbathing or playing in the sand.
Stratford Woods Park includes four groomed beach volleyball courts.
A bicycle motocross (BMX) track is available at Stratford Woods Park. National Bicycle League-sanctioned races are held on Tuesday evenings, and the track is available for general use at all other times from 8 a.m. to dusk, weather permitting.

There is no admission charge to the park.
Park hours are 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Supervised beach opens in May and continues through Aug. Park open 8am-11pm. Lifeguard on duty noon-7 p.m. No admission fee.

The pond is fully stocked for fishing, and it provides a sandy beach for swimming. Three basketball courts, and four beach volleyball. West side has a number of trails for hiking and walking.
