Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum - Saginaw Valley State University
The Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum's main exhibit gallery features a unique collection of over a thousand works that span the 70-year career of Detroit-based public sculptor, Marshall M. Fredericks (1908-1998). He is known nationally and internationally for his impressive monumental figurative sculpture, public memorials and fountains, portraits, and medals.
The Sculptor's Studio displays a permanent exhibit of Marshall Fredericks' former Royal Oak, MI studio. It displays authenic objects arranged in a way that explains the casting process.
Two temporary exhibition galleries feature changing exhibitions of international, national, regional, and Michigan artists.
Enjoy the 22 Fredericks bronze sculptures in the Sculpture Garden adjacent to the Museum and on the beautiful campus of Saginaw Valley State University. Also see the "Harlequins", two metal relief sculptures in the Groening Commons, Curtiss Hall.
