The Alden B. Dow Home and Studio…an architectural masterpiece and tranquil haven just off Main Street…was designed and built by Midland architect and native, Alden B. Dow, F.A.I.A. (1904-1983). At first glance you might expect that it was built recently, but in reality construction began 75 years ago. A tour of the Home and Studio will be anything but “typical or average” since the tour will make you feel like Alden and Vada Dow have invited you in to be their guests. Each piece of furniture, every pillow and decorative art piece is original. To complete the experience, guests are invited to sit down at points during the tour to take it all in.

Tours are held Monday - Saturday @ 2:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m.
