The Art of the Brick Exhibition
Have you ever wondered what you could do with hundreds of thousands of LEGO® building bricks? Come find out! Captivating and unlike anything you’ve seen before, national celebrity artist Nathan Sawaya creates sculptures entirely of LEGO® bricks. Works range from faithful recreations of everyday objects to whimsical flights of fancy, to deeply emotional pieces that really connect with the viewer.
The eye-popping exhibition makes its Michigan debut with 28 amazing pieces of art, including three-dimensional sculptures and oversized mosaic portraits. “I want to elevate this simple plaything to a place it has never been before. Everyone can relate to this toy that many children have at home,” says the artist.
SNAPZONE
The Art of the Brick will bring out the budding architects in both the young and young-at-heart. For those inspired to build their own sculptures, models and contraptions, hundreds of thousands of building bricks will be available in age-appropriate build areas in our SnapZone. Take a chance and play! Expressing your creativity is a … SNAP!

Backpacking the Porcupine Mountains
This extended backpacking trip allows adventurers to spend seven days in the wilderness of Michigan’s largest state park.
As we leave behind all of the ‘extras’ of everyday life, we’ll appreciate old growth forests, waterfalls, and breathtaking views of the Porcupine Mountains. We’ll enjoy new friendships, learn new skills, and gain confidence as we successfully complete the route we have chosen.
